CAPER/NPF Visiting Fellows Program
The Collaborative Alliance for Pancreatic Education and Research (CAPER) CAPER and the National Pancreas Foundation (NPF) are pleased to offer the CAPER/NPF Visiting Fellows Program, providing three unique one-month fellowship opportunities. Each fellowship is designed to immerse one selected trainee in hands-on experience in managing benign and malignant pancreatic diseases through a multidisciplinary approach. One applicant will be chosen for each fellowship, allowing three individuals to participate in total.

The fellowship opportunities are:
1. (NEW!) Surgical Pancreatology – (Observership only for 2025-26) - Indiana University
2. Adult Pancreatology – University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
3. Pediatric Pancreatology – Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Eligibility Criteria:

Adult & Pediatric Pancreatology Fellowships: Open to Residents and GI Fellows, with priority given to GI Fellows
-
Surgical Pancreatology Fellowship: Open to Surgical Residents only
Selected applicants will work with their host institutions to arrange a mutually convenient time for their observership during the 2025-2026 academic year.
