CAPER Pancreas Scholars Program

The CAPER Scholars Program pairs national leaders in pancreatology with selected fellows and residents to facilitate mentorship, promote research collaboration, and develop a world-class pancreatology research network. The CAPER Pancreas Scholars Program is a two-year, educational mentorship program, consisting of a live mentorship workshop, quarterly webinars, and monthly mentorship teleconferences.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold the status of Fellow for the academic year 2026-2027.

  • Commitment to the Scholars Program for a duration of 2 years is required.

  • Availability to attend a two-day, in-person mentorship workshop scheduled within the first quarter of each calendar year. Exact location and dates will be communicated later.

  • Applicants are strongly encouraged to prioritize attendance at annual PancreasFest meetings.

The Collaborative Alliance for Pancreatic Education and Research’s (CAPER) mission is: (a) to facilitate the collaboration of researchers of pancreatic diseases and to support scientifically rigorous multi-center studies in pancreatic diseases; (b) to educate and train healthcare providers in pancreatic diseases; (c) and to increase public health awareness regarding pancreatic diseases.
